This latest contribution marks the start of the company’s second year of support for the charity and a total investment of £60,000.

JLR is headquartered in Coventry and operates factories across Solihull, Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Halewood on Merseyside.

The London-based Amos Bursary was founded in 2009 and aims to transform the lives of students from African and Caribbean backgrounds by helping them develop their careers and overcome challenges.

This includes providing assistance to high-performing year 12 students and a bursary for educational resources, tuition and emergency support alongside mentoring and internships.

In 2023, the bursary expanded its reach into the Midlands with JLR as its first partner.

The marque recently welcomed 30 students who have benefited from the grant to its Gaydon facility which provided insights into the automotive industry.
