Hitachi Energy Opens New UK HQ In Birmingham

An energy technology firm has opened a new UK headquarters in Birmingham.

Hitachi Energy, part of the Japanese global conglomerate Hitachi, has taken 7,000 sq ft on a ten-year lease on the 24th floor of Alpha Tower.

Its previous UK head office in Stone, Staffordshire, will continue to operate following the move.

Hitachi Energy works with clients in the utility, industry and infrastructure sectors to provide sustainable energy products and services.

Its global headquarters are in Switzerland and it has around 600 staff working on energy projects in the UK.
