The headquarters is powered by 100 per cent renewable energy, with all heating and air conditioning installed to provide a more efficient and sustainable setting.

The HQ was officially opened by swimmer Adam Peaty and BHX freestyle rider Charlotte Worthington, both of whom are ambassadors for the business in the run up to next year’s Olympics in Paris.

North region vice-president Andrea Manenti said: “It was a huge honour to welcome Adam and Charlotte to our offices and officially reopen them for our colleagues.

“The investment in our Warwick headquarters is so much more than an office refurbishment but a commitment to our employees, our partners and the community.

“Bridgestone is evolving into a sustainable solutions company. Our new office is a living testament to this philosophy, bringing our environmental promises to life.

“It’s an inspirational place to work from and an investment to our staff to provide them with a better connected, more collaborative and inspirational working environment.

“The investment is also a commitment to the West Midlands and Warwickshire which has been our home for many years now.

“We are embarking on a new chapter as a business and the county has always been close to our hearts.

“We support community initiatives here in Warwickshire and a great number of our colleagues are from the local area. We couldn’t envisage being anywhere else.

“This project reaffirms our commitment to the area which will be our home for many, many years to come. It’s a home to be proud of and we look forward to welcoming our partners to visit in the coming weeks and months.”
