Tailored, expert support and strategies

Connect with like-minded business owners and learn from experts (Image: North East Times) Scaleup North East offers bespoke, one-to-one guidance from experienced partners, many of whom have successfully scaled businesses themselves, ensuring personalised strategies for growth.

These partners offer insights and tools, pose challenges, pinpoint opportunities to solve problems, lay the groundwork for growth, and unlock potential.

One business owner reflected on her time with executive coach Angelina Bell, saying: “If I had not reached out to Angelina, we would not be where we are now, without a doubt. There’s no judgement, they can come and stand next to you, and you can be very honest and vulnerable, and they can advise you on what they’ve learnt and offer guidance.”

Workshops and events to drive growth Business owners can also gain valuable insights through Scaleup North East’s engaging workshops and events.

These allow entrepreneurs to connect with like-minded professionals and industry leaders who can offer critical advice, collaborations, and network growth, as well as uncover new opportunities and sparks of inspiration to move their business forward.

One business owner said: “The value has been incredible – a real breath of fresh air. What stood out most was meeting others, leading to potential collaborations. The speakers were inspiring, offering a genuine insight into the realities of being a founder and entrepreneur.

“For me, the biggest takeaway was to be bold and seize opportunities – it’s been absolutely worth the time.”

Events partner, North East Times magazine, is also involved with the initiative to support local businesses (Image: North East Times) There are a variety of events and workshops running over the coming months including: an employment law and HR masterclass; a programme for organisations to attract and retain top talent; a workshop on managing environmental pollution risks; a three-hour marketing strategy planning session; a dive into enhancing brand communication with customers and employees; and an interactive session for senior leadership.

Alongside this, business owners gain access to exclusive resources designed to help give their business a competitive edge.
